Smart
Filters:
In
CS3 these filters work with Smart Objects or Layers. Or they may
be invoked on regular layers or images, 8 or 16 bit images. In MAC
they work with All the Photoshops : CS3, CS2, CS, 7, 6, 5, and Elements
5, 4, 3, 2, 1. In Windows the Smart Filters work in CS3.
They
have the added functionality of a histogram that allows you to better
judge when you maybe clipping within the image. You
can use a Red(25A), Yellow (8) or Green (11) to change the relationship
of tonalities within a picture. We have modeled each of those filters
and we do the filtering of the image before we apply the film model,
just as if you had shot with the color filter in front of the lens
in the analog world.
New Orthochromatic
Filter we
have just added the Ortho film to the filters. Have the look of
the 1900's in your photographs.
16
bit Filters with Histogram:
If
your work flow is 16 bit, now you can turn your color into the Black
and White just as if you had shot it with your favorite film. These
filters work on 8 bit and 16 bit/channel images. They can be used
on layers to enhance creative effects.

8
bit Filters Enhanced:
Each Enhanced film model has three specific color filters, built
in, that have been used by black and white photographers almost
as long as there has been film. You can use a Red(25A), Yellow (8)
or Green (11) to change the relationship of tonalities within a
picture. We have modeled each of those filters and we do the filtering

8
bit Filters Original:
Make
use of your film experience in your digital world. These filters
will render a color image as if it were shot with your favorite
Black and White film.
We
analyzed the color to graytone response of each emulsion and devised
an algorithm to reproduce the tonality of each film. We have correlation
coefficients of between 80% and 90%.
We
make better black and white images because we give you the digital
equivalent of the film you have used for years and have gotten to
know.
Sepia
Filter:
Our
Sepia filters allow you to get sepia toning simply. One control
allows you to control the depth of toning
SilverIR
Filter: Take a color
image, scanned or from a digital camera, and using the SilverIR
filter as part of a process, make an image that looks like an IR
picture.
Landscape
filter: with BANG setting to give your Black and White Landscape
pictures Sizzle. Gives a polarizer feel to the images
Color
Landscape Filter with BANG Setting and Histogram Functionality.
Building on the algorithm for the BANG filter we
introduce out first color filter. Three settings + BANG for slide
like responses. Like a polarizer that you can control after making
the image.
